Update on Situation in Egypt (January 31, 2011) UniGroup Worldwide has been in contact with our UniGroup UTS agent in Egypt, Express International. The staff are safe, as well as the office and warehouse.The office is closed and will take it day-to-day as to when it will reopen. The internet and e-mail is shut down by the government, and communication via phone is limited. We understand that Customs remains closed, as well as air and seaports. While the office is closed, crews are able to handle a limited number of urgent jobs during the daytime hours, prior to the 3:00 p.m. government imposed curfew. Any shipment that is picked up is being stored in their warehouse until Customs returns to work and the sea/airports start operations again. If you have any questions or concerns about a shipment you have or one in progress, please be sure to contact your move manager here at the Home Office.
