Formed in 1996, UniGroup Worldwide, Inc. is the international transportation and move management subsidiary of UniGroup, Inc., the $2 billion dollar holding company of United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, located in St. Louis, Missouri.
United Van Lines International and Mayflower Transit International have rich traditions in the international moving and freight forwarding business dating back to the early 1960's. Merging the two international operating companies in 1996 created one of the world's largest specialized moving and freight forwarding firms. Taking advantage of the economies of scale in consolidated purchasing and standardized operating processes, UniGroup Worldwide successfully and economically transports high value, high-tech products throughout the world.
In 2001, UniGroup Worldwide entered into a strategic operating alliance with Netherlands-based UTS International, forming UniGroup Worldwide UTS. The alliance completes a network of over 500 representatives worldwide in all of the world's major centers of commerce and compliments the extensive United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit networks throughout North America.
UniGroup Worldwide UTS offers a unique approach to global management. We provide our customers with a complete package of air, ocean and customs clearance services designed to meet the most demanding requirements for on-time performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
We are large enough to have the resources necessary to serve global clients, yet small enough to give our customers prompt, personalized customer service.
Fred Parshley,vice president of Air Freight and Logistics for UniGroup Worldwide UTS, is the treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Airforwarders Association. He has served on the Board of Directors since 1999.
The Airforwarders Association represents more than 200 airforwarding companies with over 3,000 offices throughout the U.S. and is commited to safeguarding and furthering the interest of airforwarders.

The fastest delivery for shipments with an urgent deadline. This is first class service with first class carriers. - STANDARD SERVICE A reliable and economical alternative for shipments with less urgent deadlines. This service is for more price-sensitive customers.
In addition to international air freight services, UniGroup Worldwide UTS also provides a wide array of domestic air freight services. We have a network of over 200 partners in the United States who cover all major metropolitan cities. We accommodate full crating/uncrating, debris removal and various other logistical requirements.
